Welk vak geef je: |
I teach Geography. |
|
Welke Engelse achtergrond heb je |
After my HAVO I spent three months washing dishes in Texas, at an American Summer camp. I shared the dishwashing kitchen with two blokes from Northern England. You can Imagine this gave my accent a funny twist when I was 19 years old. After my Geography Studies I spend almost four years abroad, over a period of ten years. I traveled by myself in India and around and worked as a tour leader for Djoser in many African and Arabic Countries. My accent is sometimes still a bit funny (…) but on the whole English as a language comes very natural. |

Wat was het leukste tweetalige moment: |
I found out that one of my pupils in the first grade has lived in the U.S. for a few years. His English was very fluent so we had a chat about his experiences. The rest of the class could hardly understand … because, unfortunately, this pupil does not take part in our bilingual course. |

Waar op de wereld zou je nog eens naar toe willen en waarom |
So far I have seen only 20% of the countries in the World… so 80% to go. The only problem is I need to reach my 150th birthday before I will be finished. My first next country to visit will be Japan. |

Waarom moet iemand tweetalig op het Schoter volgen |
The Bilingual course will give any student a very good start after secondary school in our ever shrinking World. Many study books are in English and any student should take the chance to spend some of their studies abroad. |

Wie of wat laat je Engelse hart sneller kloppen |
I once traveled to the south of England and the Isle of White in Autumn. The colours of the forest were amazing, there is still a lot of beautiful nature to be found in England. | | |
